LATITUDE RESTAURANT |

OBJECTIVE

Latitude is to be a waterfront restaurant in the unique setting of Royal William Yard, encompassing the Best of British food and design, comfortable and stylish with a twist of intrigue. A nautical theme is to feature subtly in the interior design of the restaurant as well as in the menu.

SOLUTION

Latitude will have a spacious feel with a layering of natural materials to invite, comfort and create intrigue for the guests. Washed wall and feature lighting will be a key factor in creating a unique atmosphere, separating areas and enabling a change in mood when needed.

A centre-piece cocktail bar serves diners and non diners and acts as a focal point for the restaurant, a reception for the guests, and a hub of activity for the whole restaurant. The kitchen will be clearly visible from where the culinary action can be viewed.

The Modern British Interior Design is characterised by a pragmatic logic of architecture, and a mix and layering of rich natural materials.

Sawn cut oaks, herringbone flooring, ebony framing, riveted stainless, crushed glass feature wall and fibre optic fabrics will complement the original stone structure whilst adding a contemporary twist.

RESULT

In keeping with the unique setting of Royal William Yard, we aim to create a space which is quintessentially British - where the best of British tradition merges with fresh modern flavours to create a statement of our time.
