One of the many elements that make ASTHEIMER unique is the variety of our work. We have a diverse assortment of clients and luxury brands across many sectors, undertaking an eclectic mix of projects, and designing pieces as wide ranging as Ice Cream Parlours through to bespoke jewellery.

We are proud to work with clients that include Unilever on the design of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), which has become a core area of knowledge and expertise.

Whilst at Pininfarina, Carsten Astheimer was asked by the International Olympic Committee to design the torch and cauldron for the 2006 Winter Olympics hosted in Turin. Cast in aluminium, the fluid sculpted form reflect Turin’s artistic and industrial history, the torches were engineered to endure snow and wind up to 120 kilometres per hour and to burn up to 5,000 metres above sea level. The design won the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award, the highest recognition of the Biennale of Contemporary Art.

For Bombardier, we proposed an innovative solution for the interior layout of one of its trains to improve the travel experience for commuters. The spaces we created included a variety of seating areas for different needs; families, couples, and more private spaces for the individual.
